Residential Sound Studio Project – Acoustiblok, Inc. was contacted by a homeowner for help soundproofing a residential sound studio. After speaking with one of our noise abatement specialists they were able to develop a solution to the problem of noise escaping the studio to bother the rest of the house and adjacent neighbors.

Acoustiblok was used in the residential home sound studio and the installation sequence is pictured below.  Room within a room construction was utilized and all surfaces were treated with Acoustiblok.

The customer stated: “The silence inside the sound room is deafening!  You can yell at the top of your lungs inside the room and not a whisper of sound comes through outside.”
