Pool Pump Enclosure Project – Acoustiblok Inc. was contacted by a project manager seeking help to resolve a noise issue with their pool equipment.  After speaking with one of our noise abatement specialists they were able to develop a solution to the problem using our proprietary Acoustifence material.

Acoustifence was used to create two sound barrier screen enclosures, around two different sets of pump motors.  The enclosure barriers dramatically reduced the directional noise generated by the constant whining from the pumps, all but eliminating the complaints about the noise.  Rivet Nuts and extra wide truss head screws were used to attach the grommeted Acoustifence, so it could be easily removed and have access to the equipment.

Per the project manager: “I was blown away by the difference after installation – on the larger enclosure, where the back is open, the machinery is very loud and in the front it is silent.  Very neat to see the material in action and it’s capabilities! ”
