Acoustiblok’s Acoustifence noise reducing fences were used to enclose this power generation site located in the Bronx.

Per the customer, “This material was used in lieu of the AiL Sound Wall system because of underground obstructions and the overall size of the footings that were designed. The acoustical rating was well within the criteria specified by the engineer for this project. I think this would work well on a 4′-6′ chain-link fence that is mounted to the pre-cast jersey barriers. We would also drill some anchoring pins through the barriers on a diagonal into the asphalt and soil below (+/- 24” only due to underground utilities).  The EOR, Bronx Zoo and all involved can review this product on their website below.  There is plenty of product literature ready for download on the site as well.”
