Commercial Vent Blower Enclosure Project

To begin, a commercial vent manufacturer contacted Acoustiblok seeking our help to solve a noise problem.  Working with the customer, we designed and manufactured custom blower enclosures for their outdoor odor control units.  For reference, these units are the type used at lift stations and wastewater/sewage facilities.  Next, our CAD engineer designed a total of 8 variations, with 4 unique configurations and their mirror images.  We used our patented All Weather Sound Panels®, to custom build each unit to exacting specifications.  Once built, they were shipped for assembly around the equipment at the vent manufacturing facility.

Our client’s customers have been very pleased with the results and to date, we have filled 32 orders for this manufacturer and are on track to nearly double that number this year.

We recently received this follow up communication from the customer:

“I NEVER REALLY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPARE “BEFORE AND AFTER” NOISE LEVELS WITH YOUR PANELS ON MY ODOR CONTROL UNITS, BECAUSE EACH UNIT WAS BUILT HERE BUT STARTED ONSITE.

WE HAVE THIS PHASE CONVERTER IN THE SHOP AND IT HAS A HIGH PITCHED “BUZZ” THAT WAS REALLY, REALLY ANNOYING. WE PUT UP WITH IT FOR YEARS, UNTIL THE OTHER DAY WHEN I HAD ENOUGH. I TOOK ONE OF THE BOXES THAT WAS GOING TO BE INSTALLED ON A UNIT AND COVERED UP THE CONVERTER WITH IT.

WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE! THE NOISE WENT FROM INTOLERABLE TO ACCEPTABLE AND IT WAS STUNNING, REALLY.

HENCE THE ORDER I JUST PLACED.
