Power Station Generator Enclosure – Acoustiblok Inc. was contacted by the manager of a power generating station, seeking help to resolve a noise issue with commercial Caterpillar generators at the power station. After consulting with a noise abatement specialist they came up with a solution using All Weather Sound Panels^® to construct an absorption barrier enclosure. the panels were strategically placed on or near the generators to control noise propagation inside the enclosure. The installation resulted in an overall 16dB reduction, which is over a 64% reduction in perceived sound.
