Excessive Generator Noise Resolved – Acoustiblok Inc. was contacted about a noise issue with a 20Kw residential generator.  Acoustiblok and QuietFiber were incorporated into a wood fence structure to provide a sound absorption barrier.  The customer stated the following:

“The generator project is complete and the sound reduction is amazing! My neighbor ran over and gave me two thumbs up. I cut and fit the Acoustiblok inside between the horizontal framing and secured it with staples and screws. I then fit the QuietFiber in same areas and secured with washer and screws. Garden fabric was then placed over the QuietFiber and secured to the frame with staples. A plastic screen was installed on top to keep out large debris.
